The CDC will recommend routine hepatitis A vaccination for children in some states.
Routine vaccination will be recommended for children living in AZ, AK, CA, ID, NV, NM, OK, OR, SD, UT, and WA. These states have two to three times the national average incidence rate of hep A.
Vaccination should also be considered for children in AR, CO, MO, MT, TX, and WY.
