Crinone (CRIN-own), a vaginal gel containing micronized progesterone

Wyeth will soon market Crinone (CRIN-own), a vaginal gel containing micronized progesterone.

For now, it's approved only for treating infertility...as an alternative to progesterone injections or suppositories.

But some women will use Crinone for PMS, hormone replacement therapy, etc...instead of micronized progesterone capsules or suppositories.
